Must be nice...
It must be nice that Andrew is still sound asleep at 9:30. I wouldn't know what sleeping in is. Seeing as how I haven't done it in over a year.
I'm just grumpy because he knew we needed to get an early start on heading to his parent's to do Gavin's birthday festivities there. And now Gavin's had to be put down for a nap, because I didn't want to make him stay up until Andrew gets up and ready to leave. So that just means Andrew can deal with Gavin screaming most of the way to Tuscaloosa instead of sleeping.
I know I could go in there and wake him up, I'm trying to be nice though. He deserves some good sleep since he just finally finished finished UPT (pilot training) yesterday. Only 3 weeks after official graduation! (He got behind (along with the rest of the T-38 side of his class) after the 2 fatal crashes).
Even neater was that while I was on the phone with Elizabeth around 1:45 yesterday- looking out my kitchen window, I could see 2 T-38s breaking from formation for landing. Turns out that was Andrew (one of the planes- he was solo) since I asked him what time he was flying- and he was breaking out of the pattern to land at that time...pretty neat that I know I got to really see him fly. :)
We ended up having to do our pool play date in our front yard because someone pooped in the base pool for the second time in three days. It didn't matter much, I think the boys had more fun staying home, Elizabeth brought over their pool too, so the boys had two to choose from. I got some cute pictures- but my camera is charging so I can't upload right now. Anyways- I guess I'll just catch some HGTV while I wait for Andrew to wake up from his hibernation.
