First day back flying

*prayers said* *fingers crossed*

Andrew and his fellow T-38 students return to flying today after almost 2 weeks (and before that almost a week) of no flying following the two fatal T-38 crashes. Never more than this morning have I hugged and kissed him more sincerely, seriously praying that he comes home today safe and sound.

I know any day could be our last day here on Earth, so I'm trying to remember that when I'm getting overwhelmed with all the details. None of that matters in the end anyways.
Life is not about completing a to-do list. Though this week seems like one big to-do list. ;)

Today, my grandmother is coming to see Gavin. She hasn't seen him in a month, and he's such a big boy now.
Last night he took his first steps. I'm sure by his birthday in two weeks he's going to be running full steam ahead!!
